The EAIE Annual Conference in Dublin

Rethinking Education, Reshaping Economies, is the theme of the annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), which was held on 11th-14th of September 2012 at the Convention Centre in Dublin.

This conference is the biggest educational event for mid-level administration in Europe. The EAIE Annual Conference is the biggest European expert conference for professionals working in higher education. Besides from the substantive part of the conference, significantly affecting the internationalization, an essential part are events of the networking nature,  allows participants to establish and develop cooperation between institutions represented by them and foreign partners.

Conference is accompanied by educational fairs, during which Polish universities’ offer was presented at the Polish stand, drawn up by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, in collaboration with the Development of the Education System Foundation under the slogan READY, STUDY, GO! POLAND. The conference was attended by more than 4,300 participants, including 50 participants from Poland. Sixteen Polish Universities (13 of them are IROS Forum State Universities), which delegated their representatives to Dublin benefited from free presentation of promotional materials and performing of duty at the stand during the fair.

The visitors could obtain informations about higher education system in Poland as well as the publications of the current offer of Polish universities. Stand was located in the main part of the fair and it was the fourth such an initiative this year. Polish national stand was already presented during the Education Abroad Fair in Kiev, APAIE Fair in Bangkok and NAFSA Fair In Houston, USA.
