IROs Forum (International Relations Offices Forum) is a network of international cooperation offices at Polish academic institutions engaged in the internationalization of higher education in Poland. The initiative was established to support the exchange of experiences, best practices, and knowledge among professionals responsible for advancing internationalization at Polish universities. It also aims to address the evolving needs and challenges of the modern academic world collectively.
The IROs Forum’s mission goes beyond professional integration — it seeks to create a space for collaboration, shared learning, and mutual support. It brings together individuals actively involved in the internationalization process, who work jointly to respond to the dynamic changes facing higher education. Through this collaboration, members build lasting relationships, share proven solutions, and develop new initiatives. The Forum strengthens cooperation both among Polish universities and with international partners.
The IROs Forum also plays a significant role in dialogue with external institutions, such as the National Agency for the Erasmus+ Programme, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP), and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. It supports the exchange of information, helps universities adapt their strategies to changing conditions, and promotes the development of international mobility programs.
Through its work, the IROs Forum contributes to the advancement of Polish higher education, supporting internationalization processes and reinforcing the global standing of Polish universities. It is a platform for professionals who want to actively shape an academic environment that is open to the world.
