Meeting between representatives of institutions associated with IROs Forum and FRSE (Foundation for the Development of the Education System).
On the 29th of May, 2019 at the headquarter of FRSE in Warsaw, a meeting was held with representatives of universities associated with IROs Forum and FRSE.
The aim of the meeting was to exchange opinions on the inevitable digitization of mobility management in Erasmus + program presented at the conference on the 28th of May, 2019 by a representative of the European Commission.
In addition, it was discussed how the universities associated with IROs Forum will prepare for digitization of mobility, and how other universities can ultimately benefit from the IROs Forum experience.
The reasons for a small interest in projects such as “Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education” and falling interest of Erasmus + program were analysed. Partners were searching for solutions that could heal the situation.
What is more, views on the legitimacy of increasing the monthly scholarships for students in 2020 to maximum rates and preparation for the Erasmus program 2021-2027 were exchanged.
Last but not least discussion was about the assumptions of IROs Forum activities for the years 2019-2020 in order to define the initiatives that IROs Forum can undertake in cooperation with FRSE.
