IROs Forum at the ‘Foreign students in Poland 2013’ conference

The ‘Foreign students in Poland 2013’ conference, organized by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, Warsaw University and Perspektywy Education Foundation, was held from 17 to 18 January 2013.

The conference attracted over 250 people from 95 universities, with sessions chaired by the representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Foundation for the Development of the Education System, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the British Council.

IROs Forum was invited to participate in the panel chaired by the FDES, addressing the issue of using European Union programmes to improve the competitiveness of Polish institution of higher education. Ewa Kiszka and Dominika Janik-Hornik delivered a session on the role of an international office at the contemporary university, presenting the results of the IROs Forum members survey conducted last year.
